Hello, this is Andrew with your surf forecast as of: Wednesday, July 28th @ 5:18pm. Forecast: A cold front is forecast to push across our area through the day on Thursday. Building SSW wind swell is expected overnight Wednesday and through Thursday AM. High Pressure will build in from the North Friday and slowly slide off the NE coast by Monday. This will result in cooler NNE to SE winds Friday through Monday. Background E swell is expected through the weekend with a slight increase Monday and Tuesday. Next update: Saturday PM.
Wednesday night: S winds 15-20mph building SSW wind swell.. Thursday: SSW wind swell is expected at exposed beaches. Top spots should see sets in the 4' range! SSW winds early should give way to more W winds by the afternoon. Its all timing with the passing cold front. We may see thunder storms through the late afternoon. High Tide: 10:15am Friday: Lingering SSW wind swell is expected with a slight mix of NNE swell. Winds look to be from the N 10-15mph through the morning. Top beaches could see 3'+ sets with the morning high tide. Saturday: Light ESE winds are expected through the day with 2'+ waves expected. Sunday: Winds may pick up a bit from the ESE through the day. Choppy 3' waves are expected.
