THIS WEEKS LOCAL WAVE FORECAST
Current Atlantic City Tidal Information

Hello, this is ATF with your surf forecast as of:

Sunday, March 7th @ 2:53pm.

Forecast:

High Pressure will continue to control our weather pattern through Wednesday this week!  Late in the day on Wednesday High Pressure off the Coast will slowly move North.  Winds will turn from the E through the day Wednesday!  A complex Low Pressure center is forecast to move up from the Gulf Sates towards the Great Lakes Thursday!  As it does the associated front will move towards the coast and push against the area of High Pressure offshore.  The interaction of the two systems will set up a good sized ESE swell Friday through Sunday!

Now, this is really early yet to make any claims but we could see cleaner surf conditions for the second half of next weekend!

"I will be out of town till Friday, so look for another update Saturday AM.  Call the shop for day to day details"

Look for an update Saturday AM.

Sunday afternoon:

Clean lingering E swell in the 2'-3' range is finding its way to some beaches.

Monday - Tuesday:

WNW winds are forecast both days with small waves expected!  Less than 2'..

Wednesday:

Light ESE winds early will give way to stronger speeds late!  Building ESE swell is expected overnight Wednesday.  Choppy 1'-2' waves are expected.

Thursday:

Building ESE swell is expected through the day!  Winds are expected from the ESE 10-15mph early then 15-20mph late.  Wave heights could reach the 5' range before dark.

Friday:

ESE swell could peak in the 7' range with messy conditions early..  There is a slight chance for cleaner conditions late in the day before another front moves through.

Saturday:

A Low Pressure center could develop quickly along the front off the coast!  If a Low develops along the front it should move quickly out to sea.  We could see light winds through some of the day then N winds could pick up!  4'-6' waves are expected.

Sunday:

Clean 3'-5' waves are expected with NNW winds forecast.

Water Temp:  39 degrees
